Year-end bonanza

YEAR-END BONANZA FOR THE FOLKLORE
Today the board was pleasantly surprised with a magnificent donation of €10,000 from StadsManagement Schagen.
The SMS was funded by and for the businesses of ‘old Schagen’. After the municipal reorganisation, the Stichting's activities ceased and the Ondernemers Federatie Schagen was set up as a new platform and partnership of the businesses and the various sectors of the new Municipality of Schagen. The Stichting Stadsmanagement Schagen will soon be liquidated, and in accordance with its objectives and articles of association the board has decided to donate part of its assets on liquidation to the Folklore.
Present on behalf of Stadsmanagement were Ivan Louer, Hans Blaauw and Wim Smink, and on behalf of the Folklore board Arie Groen, Jan Benit and Max Hopmans.
In the photo, the chairman of the SMS hands the €10,000 cheque to Max Hopmans, the Folklore's treasurer.
