A day out in Schagen
Besides the parade and the market, Schagen has much more to offer on Thursdays.

Museum Vreeburg and the Carriage Museum
A restored 17th-century farmhouse, now a regional museum with furnished rooms, costumes, lace bonnets and old tools. On West Frisian Thursdays horses are shod in the forge. Behind the farm is the Carriage Museum (since 2009).
