Order of the parade

A fixed order keeps the parade clear and safe. This order applies at the start and when joining at the end of the Rapenpad.

  1. The foundation board and the mayor and aldermen of Schagen
  2. De Uienhoop (farmers’ band)
  3. The children’s dance group
  4. The sjees (two-wheeled carriage) with Miss West Frisian Folklore
  5. The landau (no walkers in front of this carriage)
  6. The West Frisian dance group
  7. The music wagon
  8. The walkers, spread out between the carriages
