Visit from the mayor

Last Tuesday Mayor Marjan van Kampen paid a visit to the Folklore carriage shed. She brought delicious pastries for the men! It was a pleasant visit with lots of chatting, and she was full of admiration for everything that goes on behind the scenes in the shed every Tuesday morning. She was given a tour by our head of the carriages, Michel Bakker, and, as you can see in the photo, she got a taste of driving a carriage.
