The children's dance group starts again

WEST FRISIAN FOLKLORE CHILDREN'S DANCE GROUP IS REHEARSING AGAIN!

The new (60th!) West Frisian folklore season is coming into view.
Soon the children's dance group will start learning the dances for the ten West Frisian Thursdays in Schagen.
The children walk in the parade and dance on the stage in front of the church on the Markt to nostalgic music for a large audience.
And who doesn't know them: ‘als m’n vader en m’n moeder naar de markt toe gaan’ (when my father and my mother go to the market), ‘de driekusman’, ‘schoenlappertje’ (the little cobbler), ‘de poppenkraam’ (the doll stall) and many more songs like these.
Rehearsals start on Thursday 16 May from 15:45 to 16:30 in the playground of the Julianaschool on the Julianalaan in Schagen.
Boys and girls aged 4 and over can be signed up with:
Astrid Neve (wfkinderdansgroep@ziggo.nl) and from 16 May every Thursday in the playground. Feel free to come and have a look!
The West Frisian Thursdays start on 4 July; the last one is on 5 September.
