Sjees back again

Frisian Sjees back in Schagen.

After the accident on 20 August last year, the Friese Sjees (a traditional two-wheeled Frisian gig) is back after a restoration lasting several months.

None of the damage it suffered can be seen any more, thanks to the skilled work of Jannes van de Wal from Nijetrijne in Friesland, who carried out the repairs.

So two days before the official opening of the museum season, the sjees can be seen again at Boerderij- en rijtuigmuseum Vreeburg, Loet 14, Schagen.
