Sara van Dijk is the new Miss

SARA VAN DIJK IS THE NEW MISS.

In a full Alpha last night, Sara van Dijk was "crowned" Miss Westfriese Folklore 2023; Kitty de Graaf came 2nd and Gerda Mak 3rd.

The jury, consisting of Jeanne Vos, Marijke Couvert, Esther Dekker and Max Hopmans, had a tough job. In the end, the perfection of the costume and her charisma were decisive.

In addition, the first copy of our anniversary book "Reuring" was received by aldermen Puck de Nijs and Hans Heddes from folklore chairman Rienk Mud. During the season the book is on sale at the information stall and all year round at Boekhandel Plukker.
