Rabo Clubkas campaign
Do you have an account with the RABO bank? If so, you can vote for us in the Rabo Clubkas Campaign. You can read below how it works.
Rabobank sponsorship.
Many times, many volunteers of the Westfriese Folklore have cycled along in the Rabo Sponsored Bike Ride. The Rabobank has stopped this, and it has now been replaced by the Rabo Clubkas Campaign
Set-up of the Rabo Clubkas Campaign
As of this year, Rabobank Kop van Noord-Holland enables the associations within its area to take part in the Rabobank
Clubkas Campaign.
How does it work?
Rabobank Kop van Noord-Holland is making €200,000 available for all associations and foundations in the Noordkop. There are about 500 of them.
It works as follows:
The 22,000 members of the Rabobank vote on how the money is divided among the clubs in the Kop van Noord-Holland.
The club with the most votes receives the most money.
Each Rabobank member gets 5 votes.
Of these 5 votes, 2 may go to the same club. The remaining 3 votes must be divided among other clubs.
You do have to be a member to vote; just having a Rabo account is not enough.
Rabo account holders are not automatically members of the Rabobank, but can become members free of charge. If you are already a member, you receive the quarterly magazine “Dichterbij” from the Rabo at home or by email.
Becoming a member is easy:
Drop in at the Rabobank or give them a call (0223-671300); they will be happy to help you.
You can also do it via online banking:
Log in to your Rabobank account. Go to your details. There it says whether you are a member of the Rabo: yes or no.
If you are not yet a member, go back to the home page and, under "zelf regelen" (manage it yourself), choose "lid worden" (become a member). This must be done before 31 March.
The voting forms will be sent by post on Tuesday 8 May, and these forms explain what to do next.
The voting period runs from 8 May to 28 May, after which the ballot boxes will be closed.
Family, friends and acquaintances may also vote. Try to reach as many people as possible to cast 2 votes for the Westfriese Folklore.
We are very curious.
