Photos of former Misses wanted

Photos wanted of former Miss West Frisian Folklore 1972 to 2003.

Since 1972 a new Miss West Frisian Folklore has been chosen every year.

By tradition she opens the weekly parades on the sjees (two-wheeled gig).

The Westfriese Kroniek wants to run a feature on all the Misses since then in 2021 and is therefore looking for photos.

From 2004 onwards the editors of De Kroniek have good photos, so this concerns the years 1972 to 2003.

We do have a list of all the names, but by no means a photo of every Miss.

If you have photos that can be reproduced, please email them (preferably with the name and year) to: kroniekwestfriesefolklore@gmail.com
