Lions Schagen supports the Folklore

Last summer Lions Club Schagen sold bottles of water on the 10 West Frisian Thursdays in aid of the Folklore. The proceeds came to €1550. The bottles were provided free of charge by Albert Heijn Callantsoog! The cheque was presented on behalf of the Lions Club by Willem van de Sande to the chairman Rob Hogenes, who was delighted with the generous donation. Mr van de Sande had another surprise for the Folklore: in 2013 the Lions want to sell water again on the West Frisian Thursdays and try to beat the 2012 total. As could be seen in the photos, Kitty Mertz was also there on behalf of Schagen FM for a fine report on Schagen FM.
