Information on borrowing costumes and prams

Dates for borrowing West Frisian folklore costumes 2013

The first West Frisian Thursday takes place on 4 July.
The last one is on Thursday 5 September.
Participants in the parade can once again borrow West Frisian clothing from the Stichting bevordering Westfriese folklore (Foundation for the Promotion of West Frisian Folklore) for a small fee.

The lending dates for 2013 are:
Monday 17 June from 14:00 to 16:00
Monday 17 June from 19:00 to 21:00
Tuesday 18 June from 19:00 to 21:00 (special: “reservations”)
Wednesday 19 June from 14:00 to 17:00 (special: children's clothing)
Saturday 22 June from 11:00 to 13:00
Tuesday 2 July from 19:00 to 21:00

The clothing is handed out in the ‘folklore tower’ of the carriage museum in the Muziektuin in Schagen

The lending of prams is arranged by Gré Buter and takes place on Tuesday 18 June from 19:00 to 21:00.

The dates for returning the clothing are:
Wednesday 11 September from 14:00 to 16:00
Thursday 12 September from 9:30 to 11:30
Thursday 12 September from 19:00 to 20:30
Saturday 14 September from 10:30 to 12:30.
