In memoriam: Cor Borst

This week, after a short but severe illness, Mr C. Borst from Heerhugowaard died at the age of 76.
For many years Cor Borst was a very enthusiastic and loyal coachman in the West Frisian parade. He also took part every year in the ring tilting around the Markt in Schagen.
Before the start of the parade on 25 July, Cor Borst was remembered by his fellow coachmen with a minute's silence and a beautiful bouquet in his carriage.
Cor Borst was a ”horseman” through and through. The Stichting West-Friese Folklore and all participants in the parade wish his family and loved ones much strength.
