Free lunch for volunteers on the closing day

Invitation to all volunteers and everyone who walks in the parade.

On Thursday 31 August the 2017 season will already be over. To thank everyone for their efforts, we are once again organising a festive closing lunch on the Markt, offered by Bakkerij Slijkerman and De Posthoorn.

Before the lunch begins, we will first say goodbye to our 60-year-old children's dance group. They will be put in the spotlight on the stage from 12:30 to 12:45. Let's all make it a party and warmly thank the children and their helpers for this wonderful anniversary year.

Once this is done, we will enjoy lunch to the musical accompaniment of Dick Langedijk. There will be plenty to eat and drink for everyone: currant buns, sandwiches, apples, bitterballen, milk and water. Everything will be handed out by the staff of De Posthoorn and Bakkerij Slijkerman.

There will be enough seats and standing tables.

We kindly ask you not to sit on the terraces of the cafés and restaurants with the food and drink.

The board hopes for a fine end to this successful season; we can cautiously start thinking about 2018 again.
