Farewell to Arie Brak

After looking after the animal stall at the West Frisian market for 20 years, Arie Brak has decided enough is enough. On the second-to-last Thursday, the children of the 60-year-old dance group already said goodbye to Mr Brak; several children had written a lovely card and were allowed to read it out. It was all "skitterend" (West Frisian for "splendid"), as Arie always puts it so nicely. Next week will be Arie's own last time.
