Costume show latest news!

The West Frisian Folklore season starts again on 28 June. For ten Thursdays Schagen will be all about the parade and the beautiful traditional costumes.
Traditionally the “kick-off” of the folklore season is the annual costume show, which this year takes place on Thursday 14 June at 20:00 at Markt 15.
From the participants in this costume show (most of the ladies made their own outfit last winter) the new Miss 2012 will be chosen.
Already 21 ladies from all over North Holland have registered to try for this coveted title!
There is still room for about 5 ladies in authentic West Frisian outfit.
