Closing day: fun on the square

“Fun on the square” could be the motto of this closing day.

To thank all the volunteers for their fantastic efforts over the past season
there will be musical performances especially for them this afternoon, on the stage and around the café terraces.
Both the house band De Uienhoop and the well-known Schagen choir Liederlijk Schagen will put their best musical foot forward.
The performances are from 13:00 to 16:00.

As always, the parade starts at around 10:45, opposite café Spoorzicht on the corner of Nieuwe Laagzijde / Stationsweg.
From 11:30 the children's dance group and the West-Friese Dansgroep will dance on the
stage on the Markt.
The children's dance group will enjoy a bread meal on the Markt and perform once more in the Makado Center, at around 12:00.

Of course, the museum farm ”Vreeburg” and the Rijtuigenmuseum (Carriage Museum) are open all day
until 17:00, and for the last time – for a small fee – you can climb the tower of the church on the Markt.
