Cheque from the Rotary

SCHAGEN – The amaryllis bulb campaign of Rotary Schagen has raised €2,250 for the Folklore in Schagen.

On Thursday afternoon, treasurer Max Hopmans received a cheque on behalf of the Folklore board from the president of the Schagen Rotary, Hajo Solkesz.

In December, amaryllis bulbs were sold at Mulder Optiek in Schagen, among other places.

With that money the Folklore has had a few windows installed in the costume loft in the Carriage Museum. This improves ventilation and light, so that especially the ladies who maintain the clothing can do their "work" in better conditions.
