Cheque from Family Shoezz

SCHAGEN – The Family Shoezz winter walk in Schagen has raised a fine cheque of €225 for the Folklore in Schagen.

This morning the time had come: Jolanda Zomerdijk and Gidget Zuurbier of Family Shoezz presented the cheque to the Folklore's chairman Rienk Mud and treasurer Max Hopmans.

On 26 February the walkers covered distances of 8 or 12 kilometres. Thanks to the fine weather, 225 walkers took part in the winter walk.

€1 of the entry fee went to charity. This time that was the West Frisian Folklore.

The Folklore will use the proceeds for the anniversary book about 70 years of Folklore. That book is due to be ready in June, during the Miss Folklore election.
